WASHINGTON, DC — Crosby~Volmer International Communications (CVIC), a Washington, DC-based public relations firm, today announced the addition of three new members to its growing public relations team; Jordan Hassin, Benjamin Pfabe and John Goodykoontz.

Hassin joins CVIC as an Account Executive and will direct the Middle East & North African (MENA) Affairs Division of CVIC's International Relations sector in addition to immediate work for a national consumer awareness campaign. Prior to CVIC, Hassin served as Deputy Cultural Attaché at the Embassy of Israel in Washington, DC.
At the embassy, Hassin was tasked with promoting Israel's cultural achievements and assisted with the embassy's role in world events ranging from Israel's disengagement from the Gaza Strip and the Second Lebanon War to the Annapolis Peace Conference. Hassin received an M.A. in Public Communications from American University specializing in International Public Diplomacy.
Benjamin Pfabe joins CVIC as an Account Executive and will be charged with managing several state outreach efforts for the Digital Television (DTV) Transition; a public education campaign aimed to help viewers prepare for digital television.
A native of Cologne, Germany, Pfabe previously worked for an advertising agency where he was responsible for purchasing both print and digital media. Pfabe attended George Mason University, earning a B.A. in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations.
Goodykoontz joins the CVIC team as an Assistant Account Executive to begin immediate work on major consumer outreach and education campaigns with nationally recognized trade associations and organizations.
Prior to CVIC, Goodykoontz studied political science and communications at West Virginia University earning a B.A. in Political Science. During his time at WVU, Goodykoontz co-chaired several community-wide fundraisers for Habitat for Humanity, in addition to organizing events designed to educate students, faculty and local residents about environmental issues affecting the region.
